Apparently so, according to Russian biophysicist and molecular biologist Pjotr Garjajev and his colleagues who have explored the vibrational behavior of DNA. Russian linguists found that genetic code follows the same rules as all our human languages.
"This finally and scientifically explains why affirmations, autogenous training, hypnosis and the like can have such strong effects on humans and their bodies."
Now this is very interesting, since much of my work includes language - using meditation and hypnotic suggestions to improve well being! Apparently the DNA alkalines follow grammar rules and have rules just like our language. So, does that mean that our language is a reflection of our DNA? More powerfully, this suggests that words can impact our DNA! No coincidence!
In my book "Digital Homeopathy: Experience Homeopathy as Healing Sound", due out Spring 2015, I write about the power of words and language:
"Words carefully chosen and suggestively expressed can have huge impact on your life, let alone healing. When the right words are spoken, it can affect us in huge ways. Giving words of encouragement can be priceless! Speeches can be motivational! Teachers can help us understand things more clearly! Much of the music we hear is delivered to us as songs containing carefully chosen words expressing certain meaning to both the listener and the singer. The art of understanding how to send verbal messages, either as a songwriter or speaker, is an age-old reminder of the importance sound has to healing. If you can hear it, it is sound, and it can have healing qualities!"
