Four key areas need to be addressed for you to thrive. When any one of these is out of balance, the others will respond. Like a mobile, when one piece is out of balance, the others must adjust. Sometimes, these adjustments are difficult to make on their own, and further intervention is needed. My approach is to help you achieve this balance by responsibly addressing them through the use of tools, products, and services.
We often realize we are out of balance due to a physical issue. Common issues become problematic when they include pain, stress, sleep disturbances, or the emergence of a chronic complaint labeled with a diagnosis. Often, this is the primary complaint requiring intervention, so targeted products are used to address them. We almost always start here, looking for immediate relief and resolution for the complaint. Sometimes, this is all required to move towards a better quality of life.
In some cases, if we stop here, rather than dig deeper into root cause factors and underlying contributors, the complaint may continue or manifest into other complaints. Individuals who experience this cycle, staying in the physical realm of illness and diagnosis, can become overmedicated and use excessive supplementation. Issues often remain unresolved. Matters masked by band-aids erupt into other problems, creating a cascade of issues that seem overwhelming and hard to dissect. I encourage you to consider the other three aspects as you move toward wellness, and I offer ways to help you move in that direction at whatever pace suits you. This sometimes includes unraveling a chain of recommendations from other professionals who fail to understand all of these aspects completely.
You cannot separate the biochemicals of emotions from the other biochemicals in your body. They are a unique cocktail that represents learning. Learning in this context includes the memories of your experiences and the meaning you gave them when they happened. When you have an emotion that you might call happiness, the body responds with a smile automatically, demonstrating this process. You can easily detect a sad person by the expression on their face and how they hold their body. Therefore, to treat the physical realm without observing the emotional factors contributing to it results in an incomplete resolution. If emotional aspects anchor in traumatic experiences, which is often the case, the body remains armored to protect you despite physical interventions to relax, release, or heal. You have programmed this reaction based on the meaning you gave the experiences when the trauma occurred, potentially at a very young age. This programmatic reaction is as if you are unconsciously allowing that part of you to make decisions for you. Suppose that part of you represents a younger age, which is likely the case. In that case, it is as if you are handing over control of your situation to a child ill-equipped with the tools you have accumulated through the extended years of experience since the event causing the trauma. While it may seem obvious to take back control, this underlying trauma reaction process happens automatically. Through conscious awareness and the use of other helpful techniques, you can reprogram your responses and bring conscious alignment of your healing objectives and physical response to them. I can help by empowering you to shift your thinking, rewire your automatic responses, and create unity with your well-being's physical and emotional aspects.
More than likely, you already understand the basic concepts of energy. Electricity, radio waves, mobile phones, and light are typical examples of energy you are familiar with. You also probably know how those energies can affect you. Many people can feel energy and the effects it has on them. Examples are the feeling of connection or repulsion towards someone or something, experiencing a medical procedure using x-rays, magnets, or imaging, or the experience of consuming something that you are sensitive to that results in a physical reaction. It can affect us physically, such as electromagnetic pollution, or emotionally, such as triggering a traumatic memory at the cellular level. Because everything is vibrating, moving, and emitting sound frequencies, even though you may not hear them, it is prudent to maintain awareness of this phenomenon and its effect on your well-being.
The idea of energy as an aspect of health may seem unusual to you. The cells in our body communicate using, among other things, biophotons of light. Light contains frequencies. Every organ in your body has a signature vibration. Together, you may be a harmonious song or a cacophony of impulses performing erratically. This phenomenon defines imbalance. Healing energy can restore health when out of balance. Examining causes of imbalance could mean examining un-resourceful energies that provoke an undesirable response.
Because energy has a powerful impact on us, I use sound and light in different ways to bring you into coherence and improve your quality of life.
When you become consciously aware of how you are being, you begin to see the patterns of behavior you have developed as you have aged. You will start to understand that many of the voices you identify - directing, criticizing, evaluating, judging, or encouraging you - remind you of significant figures in your life - parents, teachers, pastors, friends - and you realize that these parts of you represent ways of thinking, being or acting rather than accurate descriptions of your self. If these multiple parts are not who you are, then who are you? One can spend a lifetime exploring this idea and follow any of thousands of spiritual paths to bring answers to the many questions that emerge. Ultimately, they all seem to converge with the idea that you are more than how you are being and that there is a force beyond explanation present within and amongst us. Whatever your spiritual belief system, I encourage exploration of it by you for clarity, congruity, and healing at all of these levels.
